Back in the Habit

So yesterday I made Holrich's cleanse drink and started doing shots of it again before every meal. Let me just tell you, this drink tastes like poop but it does the job. I also have been trying some new bedtime routines like shutting off all of my devices a half hour before bed and reading an actual book (not on Kindle or iBooks) before I turn off the light.

I went to CycleBar last night and I'm not sure if it was the instructor, the fact that I ate so bad the last few days,  the fact that I hadn't worked out in over a week, or that I was just tired (or a combination of all of that) but I felt almost brain dead after I was done. I'm going back tomorrow morning for the Connect class at 9:30. I'm finding if I don't go more often, I end up like I did last night!

In case you're interested, here's the recipe for Holrich's juice cleanse:

 2 grapefruits
 2 green apples
 3 tbs of apple cider vinegar (unfiltered)
2 inches chopped fresh ginger

Blend ingredients together and then drain pulp

After making the juice mix in
1 tbs of black pepper
2 tbs of turmeric
2 tsp of raw organic honey
2 tsp of cinnamon

Like I said, don't expect it to taste like unicorn farts...more like horse poop...but again, it gets the job done and at this point, y'all know I need that.
